More Stuff? Who would've thought?

Figured it was about time for another update (plus I had a productive day today).

So, it's day 43 or 44 or something like that, and including the last photos I'm up to 34. Not bad I reckon. Oh and if you like any of these feel free to grab em. (Just don't pass them off as your own m'kay? Cheers.)

Still Deciding

I keep getting told that I should do something this year relating to the doodle a day project that everyone seems to be doing, and I still don't know if I could stay committed to something like that (plus the fact that it's now the 10th). But then I had a thought. A wonderful thought. A thought that makes complete mathematical sense...
"Why?", I thought to myself, "Why don't I just say I'll do 365 'somethings' a year for one year?". I then proceeded to congratulate myself on my brilliant idea (pat on the back and a mallowpuff).

So now I can post whenever I feel like through out the year as long as I provide the required 365 items. So without any further rambling, here are the first 11 (they're photos by the way. I take photos. Did I mention that?)

It's been a while

Recently I got called out on letting this blog die to some extent, not that I didn't expect it to happen though. I got exactly what I wanted out of this blog, which was a way to occupy my time for a little while as well as having a blog that I could someday come back to (saves me the trouble of making another one).
Now, the main reason I haven't posted in a whi... actually screw that. Nobody needs to know and I'm not going to justify how lazy I am. I will post on this blog when I DAMN WELL FEEL LIKE IT (and when I haven't forgotten it even existed).

I'd like to hope the frequency of my posts will be relatively exponential but I'm not going to hold any fantasy in my head of that ever happening. I know what I'm like, I've never been able to keep a diary but not for lack of trying. I do, however, always wish I had (damn you past me and your laziness), but every time I go to write a second entry into that stupid little book it seems to have evaporated into nothingness or been stolen by tiny creatures that hide in the walls or something (they harvest it for the paper inside as pure paper is their currency (and socks are like fuckin gold to them)).

Because this blog is online I would have a very hard time losing it, and this really appeals to me as I can post whenever I feel like and not have all my ramblings be in 1200 different places.

So here's to more posts to come (maybe) and a Merry Christmas (I guess).

Degrees of Separation

I'd say the reason that I haven't posted in a while is because I've been busy. But that would be LIES. I've been switching between PC and 360 just gaming through my holidays. I've gotten through Mirror's Edge (although I'm still playing the time trials), Prototype and just now, Overlord 2. So, what have I learned? Well, nothing cause I've been pretty zoned out. WAIT! NO! I LIE! I did actually discover something of interest, but it was completely by accident. I found out that the story for both the Overlord series AND Mirror's Edge were written by the same person. But not only that, this person happens to be the daughter of Terry Pratchett, who is the writer of the Discworld series and some other amazing books.

It's weird, I never before gave thought to the authors that write the stories for games. It's got me thinking about the other people that work on games, such as composers and artists etc. Did you know that the same person to compose the music for most of the Super Mario games also composed for some of the Zelda games? In fact he worked with someone on Super Smash Bros Brawl who also had composed for not only a couple of sonic games but also Mass Effect whose writer also wrote the story for Jade Empire, which was designed by the same company that designed the Tomb Raider series up until 2003, and speaking of that series, the writer for Tomb Raider: Legends also worked on the Thief games which was published by the same company as the Hitman series whose composer also worked on Assassins Creed, that games writer wrote the Prince Of Persia: Sands of Time trilogy in which the VOICE ACTOR FOR THE PRINCE provided voice acting for Prototype which I finished these holidays.

There's not as many people in the industry of entertainment as you might think.

Copious is an awesome word

I never really thought I'd be able to spend this much time on a blog. But being able to write my own code (the little pop up effect on those names over there -->) has made it that much more fun. I'll admit that it's not really useful and possibly a waste of a fair few hours brushing up on my code but hey, it was still fun and I like the effect. I do have bigger plans for this blog codewise but whether or not I can use those plans remains to be seen.

Well, I plan on drinking copious amounts of alcohol tomorrow and I swear on my eyes that if I post anything embarrassing I'll keep it around this site. I doubt I will though.

I think I'm happy with the background

After much messing around with photoshop, I came up with this. I think it's pretty good, and I reckon if I get bored of it, I can just do a simple colour change and I should be lovin it again.

I never thought I'd get this many posts in this short amount of time o.O

Yay me.

I don't need titles for useless posts

Okay okay, so I meant to be making this place (blogspace) a bit nicer. I had planned on making a background that was more interesting than plain black space. But instead I've been playing games all week and I think there's nothing wrong with that. Especially considering the only one who really cares about this blog is me, and I don't even care that much.

Anyway tomorrow marks the start of a new week and hopefully I'll be able to get this baby some new skin (wow that sounded off).
